Women’s History Walking Tour
Discover the untold storied of some of Bournville’s most significant women.
14 Sept; 7pm-8.30pm
Discover the often untold stories of the trailblazing women who led the way for change and have shaped Bournville and Birmingham into the areas we know today. This Birmingham Heritage Week walking tour will shine light on women like philanthropist Dame Elizabeth Cadbury, artist Mary Sargent Florence, and trade union activist and suffragette Julia Varley.
This walk is part of the Birmingham Civic Society’s Heritage Trials Project, generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the W A Cadbury Charitable Trust and organised in partnership with Selly Manor Museum.
