Is CSR working for Birmingham?

September 30, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

This year’s CSR Summit will be showcasing the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility in Birmingham. Whilst it is undeniable that CSR has come a long way in the past decade, are the efforts of the business community truly meeting the needs and aspirations of our city? Guest speakers from business will be invited to put their credentials and programmes up for challenge by the community at large and to this end, the summit will, for the first time, be open to the public. Expect some lively debate…and possibly a tale of two cities!

Sponsored by Birmingham City Council and ACIVICO the agenda will include speakers from Aston University, ACIVICO, CSR City Gowling WLG, Beatfreeks, and PwC; the summit will look at issues ranging from support for social enterprise to education to health and wellbeing. There will also be many opportunities for delegates and community organisations to contribute their views. If you would like to attend the summit, this is a free event but you must pre-register. No one will be admitted without a ticket.
