BTfL plant their 50,000th tree!

Celebrations all round as the Birmingham Trees for Life team planted their 50,000th tree right in the heart of Birmingham in the City Centre Gardens. They were joined by a number of special people who made all of this possible – the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Ray Hassall, Geoff Cole and Sue Griffith – all of whom were instrumental in the initial setting up of BTfL and representatives from their main corporate sponsor, Deutsche Bank.
