Birmingham Civic Society Blue Plaque Walk – 15 Sept
On Tuesday 15 September, Birmingham Civic Society are organising a c3km circular walk around the Centenary Square area looking at the Blue Plaques on display.
Discover more about the people, places and events being commemorated by the iconic Blue Plaques and delve into their contribution to the development of the city of Birmingham. From a pioneering female reporter to a legendary nightclub, a politician to a surgical champion, reimagine this area through the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
What you need to know
- Meeting point: Library of Birmingham, Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2ND. We will meet under the under the canopy by the bicycle racks.
