The Civic Gospel and Citizenship

Curator Henrietta Lockhart recounts the history of the Civic Gospel, a significant movement in Victorian Birmingham and its influence on local government and citizenship. The talk is followed by a short presentation from winners of the Society’s Next Generation Awards illustrating the Society’s role in citizenship today.
