Meet Caroline Durbin

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Caroline to provide us with communication and PR support which will help us achieve the three key objectives of our +PLUS Strategy – to have a clearer identity, have greater influence and be a stronger Society.

Caroline said: “I am delighted to be joining the Birmingham Civic Society team, working on PR and communications as we approach the centenary year. I have many years experience working with cultural, heritage and arts organisations in the region. I was PR Manager for Birmingham Museums where I was lucky enough to work on the PR surrounding the Staffordshire Hoard, and the Renaissance Award winning Birmingham History galleries. More recently, I have been working with Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Arts Connect and other regional cultural organisations on their communications campaigns. I look forward to meeting our members and helping to promote the great work of the Society.”
